
- AFS is an international, voluntary, non-governmental, non-profit organization that provides intercultural learning opportunities to help people develop the knowledge, skills and understanding needed to create a more just and peaceful world. AFS is an inter-cultural exchange program and not a study program.
- Exchange students would be able to gain knowledge such as inter-cultural & communication skills and learn to be more independent from going on this program

AFS Malaysia ( ABM - Antarabudaya Malaysia)
AFS
Malaysia was established in 1958. The national organ
ization was made up of volunteers (usually enthusiastic returnees) and the
National Office (NO) consisting of paid staff to execute all policies issued from New York. ABM has chapters all around Mala
ysia. Since 1957 more than 2,000 AFS Malaysians have traveled overseas on a life-c
hanging AFS exchange.
